Event Planning Basics
There are several basic factors that come into play when you begin to plan an event.
First off- you can not plan an event without figuring out the event location. This can be a true task if you have no familiarity with finding good event locations in your area-
EVENT LOCATIONS
In your area you may find several good places to host an event- here are some options:
Parks & Recreation areas – This is a great place to find a venue- your local parks and rec office may have several locations to suggest for your event.
Schools – High Schools – Schools and Highschools are often available for rentals in off hours, most public schools will work only with non profit entities, or non commercial entities, for event rentals, but they have great facilities with often a lot of resorces that can be used. Private schools can rent to anyone.
